A new week. Also, snake!

*I wasn't supposed to be free this weekend because I was supposed to be on call. But one of the group wanted to swap, so no I'm on call next weekend. Then that made it so that I could go to the dressage show that was supposed to be today. Then that got canceled for too few entries. lol Oh man ( Read more... )

We do have them up here. Luckily the barn cats eat a lot of the critters that would otherwise be a food supply for them.

our coyotes are killing all the stray cats and the rats and mice are over running the place. We need more rat snakes down here!

sigh... isn't it funny how things like that can startle us so? It sounds like you got a ton of riding in this weekend. Good for you. My butt felt for you. I hope all continues well.

Oh, and I also startle when the pesky frogs jump out of their hiding places. But I don't mind them as much, so it's just a suprise, no screaming. lol

Yikes. I know in my head that non-poisonous snakes are good, but my heart still stops when I see one in the yard.
