Caddy! I have looked for Caddy! We never found it - but we walked down to Cadboro Bay many times while I went to school at UVic.

I'm sure if it's at his usual haunts, hubby will have snagged it.

Ugh, orcas. I'm so torn about them. On one hand, they are beautiful and fascinating. On the other hand, they eat baleen whales, which I adore. Watching them run down that poor Minke whale in Blue Planet II was too much for me and I had to go get some tea. We won't talk about the seal. :(

Oarfish, otoh, are awesome.

Yeah, they are really neat, but then they're vicious killers. Not unlike cats, but less furry and cuddly.

I'd never seen one before. And it turns out they can autoamputate their tails. The lady thinks it has to do with energy conservation.

Exactly.
Also similar to the alligators in the NYC sewers.
