* Went to the opera Saturday night and saw La Traviata. Now, I've been going to the opera off and on since college, when the incoming freshmen were taken to one. Love the opera quote . My parents love opera, but never in English.

I wondered the same thing. The priest consumes the sacrament every time tho, and some RC priests say multiple masses in one day. I like the way you stated it though. It would be kind of clinical if only the communicant received.

Well, the other thing is that most older operas are written in a language other than English, and it is anathema to translate them.

As far as the Eucharistic visiting goes. I just know how much it meant to my Grandparents when they became housebound. And as to feeling weird about taking the sacrament more than once in a day, doesn't it say, "Do this as often as you gather together" ??
