It's been wet

A lot wetter than usual. I have so many toads and hoppy things it's not even funny.
But I've never seen a salamander before. This guy was in my barn one night. Luckily he was gone the next morning because I have no idea what to do with one of those.

Wow! What kind of salamander is that, and how big was it? Hard to tell in the photo--it looks huge!

And, that is the fattest toad I've ever seen! LOL

I think it's a tiger salamander. And it was definitely huge! At least 6 inches.

That's not even the fattest toad I have. They are gorging themselves on the grasshoppers.
