*lunged Tess again a few days ago. Walked up to the door well. Still a little afraid of the door coming up and down (especially down ;). Still some jumping and bucking, but on the lead, so whatever

Horses are such special creatures,,, mine was so stubborn that I couldn't get her out of the rain and into the barn one time,,, finally told her, "fine deal with the hail yourself."(there was a big storm coming) So I let go of the rope,,, and she walked into the barn on her own,,, ,,, ,,, *gesh*

Glad the lunging is going well, but sure sounds like you will need to find a way to motivate little Tess!

Lying down with the cats sounds good!

I know!! Treats motivate her, but that won't work for lunging. Maybe a pole with a treat in front of her. ;) Maybe I'll work on something else for a while, then go back to the lunging. The gal I was hoping might help me suddenly got very sick
