I have no idea

I am so nervous about going to con. It's so odd. It's like the first time I went, which was maybe 5 years ago. I really don't get it. Maybe partly because I've had so much trauma already this summer, and since meeting new people is always stressful for me, it's just sending me round the bend? aaaiiieeee ( Read more... )

I say chill, cons are supposed to be fun, not panic inducing! Also, new horse = whoa, wow, and choose wisely, my friend.

Yes, I am being as thoughtful as I can about getting a new horse.

Anxiety is horrible, but I hope you can still manage to have a good time at the con.

Ohhh, what breed horses are you looking at? I wish I could afford riding again (I miss it!) but I will have to content myself with getting back into music. Have fun at the con (I've never been to one, but I think I may try and go to the next con they have in Dallas).

I am looking for a Lusitano. Not as common in the US as a lot of other breeds, apparently.
Sorry you can't ride. But I'm glad you're in music. What are you doing to get back into it?

Thanks. The con is usually fun, but so many people!!!!
I didn't know they had a con in Dallas. Cool. They're having one for the first time in Amarillo, but that's when I'm going to see the horse, so I can't go. :(

Those are nice. I'm partial to Fresians and Morgans. But I've ridden Quarter horses, Arabians, and Oldenburgs and Thouroghbreds. All hunter jumpers and polo ponies. Anyway. I am learning violin. I used to play cello in high school, so I decided to get back into music that way.
They have A-Kon in Dallas.

Wow, quite the number of breeds! Fresians and Morgans are definitely good. I've had mostly arabians. I love them because their hearts are so big. :D But I've also ridden appaloosas, quarters, and half-belgians. Rode Lusitanos about 12 years ago when I spent a week at a riding school in Portugal (my gift to myself for finishing residency).

Oooh, the cello, cool!! So why the violin now? Not that those are bad. ;)

Ah, A-Kon is anime. Not my thing, but cool. The one in Amarillo is primarily steampunk.
