Who: Jade, Anise, possibly Asch and Jay...and anyone else who wishes to engage in early morning (or whatever time of the day it is) glee!
Where: Blessenwood Inn
Why: Jade said he'd treat Anise to something at the inn...that and he wants to familiarize her with her surroundings and possibly some members of Ad Libitum.
(
Good morning, all you sleepyheads~ )

[There was a faint clink noise from the kitchen. Anise turned her head in the direction, but dismissed it. It was probably just the cook.]
(Come on, Anise! You shouldn't be this jumpy! It's just some guy doing the dishes!)
[She puts on a pleasant, charming smile and tries to relax a little. How could she ever charm the colonel by looking stressed?]
Thanks for bringing me here, colonel! I'm sooo sorry about getting mad at you earlier~ Y'know, you just wake up on the wrong side of the bed some days, that sort of thing? ♥

[Jade smiled at the soft clink, stealing a glance once again at the bar, which appeared to lead into the kitchen. No one was in sight, but from what Jade had seen upon entering, he guessed exactly which infamous staff member lurked behind those walls.]
(Hmm...I never thought him to be bashful. Perhaps this job compromises his masculine pride or something of the sort.)
[Jade smiled at her, relaxing a little himself--not that he stressed much at all, but he could admit to himself that the presence of the Fon Master Guardian was...comforting, for lack of better words. It seemed that even the immovable Jade Curtiss missed Auldrant ( ... )

('Old'? He could pass for 25, easy!)
Jay the Unseen, huh? I've never heard of him before. Is... he from Auldrant, like us? (He sounds like a knockoff God-General...)
Yeah. Gloomietta showed up out of nowhere with her griffins and her ligers. It was... really bad. Largo the Black Lion was there, too, but you told me to run with Ion, so I did.
We - [her voice falters a little] ... Ion and I were captured.
[Then she looks up, somewhat indignant.] And then some Oracle Knight jerk threw me out a porthole!
And then I ended up here.

No, he is from a place called the Legacy, but he is more capable of describing his world than I am, seeing how all information I have on it came from him.
A porthole? My, my, it might be in the Fon Master's best interests to enforce a certain level of courtesy in the Order. Between commandeering, kidnapping, and disposing, they certainly caused some trouble, wouldn't you say?

[Jay entered the inn, mainly in search of the eccentric colonel. He found Jade quickly; he was sitting at a table with a girl, who was probably about Jay's height. Looking around some more, Jay spotted someone else he had taken a liking to - Asch the Bloody, a.k.a Asch the Waiter, working behind the bar.]
(Oh...it looks like the colonel's busy. What a shame; I really wanted to talk to him. Well, I'll just have to wait for him to finish. In the meantime, I think I'll go over here and talk to Asch...)
[With that, he went over to the bar where Asch was working and climbed up onto the stool. He gave the redhead God-General his usual innocent, cheerful smile.]
Good morning, Asch. (^_^)

[Asch scowled at the rest of the staff, wearing aprons and doing his work, the work that required the least interaction with other people. He crossed his arms, ready to throw the spatula in hand at one of the buffoons.]
Who said you could run in here and stead my job?!
[One of the workers gestured at the sheet posted on the tiled wall. Asch approached, noticing that for this shift, he was to wait on tables. Given the number of staff working that day, it seemed he had slim chances of reclaiming his ideal position. He narrowed his blue-green eyes at the silly list, whipped the apron off of him, and threw it in a crumpled hamper to his right. Next, realizing that he had forgotten to remove his tabard anyway, unbuckled the Maestro Robe, knowing that it would only get in his way, revealing the collared shirt beneath.]
Tch... (I have the worst luck.[Still irked at the cooks, he did not dawdle as he exited, only to run almost face-to-face with Jay as the boy greeted him with a big smile. Asch ( ... )

[Actually, Jay had been practicing cooking for himself, and that eating at the inn would make it more difficult to actually engage in conversation with the frustrated redhead. The boy merely shook his head at the God-General's temper.
He then shot another glance at Jade and the girl at the table. He was still rather bored, so he struggled to find a topic of conversation. Of course, the first thing that came to mind was helping Asch with his financial troubles...especially since Asch had helped him with his cheesecake-borne illness.]
What's wrong, Asch? Every time I see you, you look more and more frustrated with your job.
Reply
I'm not frustrated with my job.
(I just get frustrated when my job makes me deal with people.)
[With nothing else to say, the former God-General disappeared back into the kitchen without making much noise at all. While out of sight, the faint murmurs of his conversation with one of the cooks reached the door, but only in the form of hushed sounds, not words. Then, Asch returned with the glass, setting it down before his customer. Casting a wary glance at Table 7 (it was always Table 7 that gave him trouble, wasn't it?) he narrowed his eyes at the colonel and a newcomer, the late Fon Master's guardian...Tatlin or something. He had rarely gotten past thinking either, "that kid" or simply another fan of his replica, dreck, or whatever other lovely names he had reserved for the other Fabre boy.]
(I'll have to wait on them, won't I? Because there was no waiter on shift they threw me out here...so as the newest staff member, I was ( ... )

(Wait...was Colonel Jade really waiting for me? They're probably just waiting on Asch to wait on them...)
[So he waited for some sort of confirmation that Jade really did call for him...]

[!] (Oh Yulia. He was just sitting there, wasn't he? Time to be super-extra charming!)
Oh, colonel~ I think Mr. Jay wanted to see you. ♥

[He addressed the two in a rehearsed tone barely more lively than a monotone.]...Welcome to the Blessenwood Inn. May I take your drink orders?
(Huh. I'm glad I got to ask Tear about Eldrant before running into these guys...)

Ah, Jay! So good to see you. I would like you to meet someone.
[He turned back around and made no effort to stifle his amused chuckle upon seeing Asch the Bloody of all people waiting on the table.]
I suppose it is a bit early for alcohol. Some black tea will do for now. Also, would you mind fetching a chair?
Oh, and I do believe it is Anise's birthday today... (It will be her birthday in another month if he does not seem to take notice.)

So, not only can Martel summon people from different worlds, but it seems that she can also summon them from different points in time.
[It would certainly make sense, given the information he had obtained about both Yuan and Martel. Nevertheless, there were now four people summoned from Auldrant. And seeing yet another arrival from Auldrant only served to depress Jay even further. He spoke his next thoughts aloud, although they were directed at no one in particular, although he assumed that Jade would be the one to hear him, since both Asch and Anise were deeply focused in their own conversation...]
I'm jealous...all of these people were summoned from Auldrant. And yet I'm still the only one from my world. It makes me feel so....so lonely.
(And why did Martel choose me of all people? Senel or Shirley would have been far better candidates... ( ... )

[Jade paused, a troubled expression on his face as he recalled his previous encounter with another from Auldrant. It only served to remind him of all of the unanswered questions that had begun to nag at his mind, knowing that he would not receive any useful information soon. At least, not from Tear. While it was a relief to see Anise, he could not say with certainty the same about Tear and definitely not about the resident God-General.]
Of course, given some inconsistencies between summons, it's sometimes dangerous and lures one into a false sense of security. In some cases, it might be easier to begin with total strangers.
(For example, for all I know, Tear could have sided with the God-Generals under the Grand Maestro faction before coming here. Without the information of what happened prior to her arrival, I might as well treat her the way I would a stranger. [Despite the mention of food poisoning, the ( ... )

[Jay gave Asch another long stare in the distance. He turned back to the colonel, puzzled at his request.]
You're more interested in that incident? Well...I ate a cheesecake that Arche made, and...I got sick from it. And then....Asch helped me. So...don't ever eat Arche's cooking. In fact, I don't think I'll ever eat another cheesecake, regardless of who makes it...

(With a title such as "the Bloody," one would expect a villain.)
Asch helped you? I might have guessed anyone but him. Well, thank you for the warning. I shall avoid anything of Arche's creation...I hope she shall have more success in the art of spellcasting.
[The colonel looked once again at Asch and Anise. The two appeared to be in the midst of an engaging conversation.]
(It would seem they are busy...I suppose now is an opportune moment to speak with Jay.)
[Pushing up his glasses, he returned his gaze to Jay.]
So, then. You wished to speak with me?

Colonel!
[She listens to his multiple jabs at Asch, then tries to take a stab at him instead, 'try' being the operative word.] Colonel, most people don't think like you do. I mean, gathering that whole crowd in Daath so Ion and I could escape...?
... I forgive you, Colonel. ♥
{OOC: She's referencing this when she's talking about the crowd.}

It worries me, actually, that we were able to escape with so many eyes on Daath...but it is for that reason I did not worry about whether or not we could leave Daath unnoticed.
I am glad we are able to get along so well. <3

Anyway, you caused a riot. People were a little busy trying to calm the people to notice you.
Anyway, the God-Generals haven't bothered the Fon Master in a while...so stop bugging me about it!
(Why am I the suspect? I'm not the traitor working for Mohs!)

[He then decided to pay closer attention to his guest. Taking a seat, he rested an arm on the counter.]
So, Anise, are there anything else you would like to know about your situation or about Atlas in general?
