She watched him inspect his weapon for a moment before walking in closer. She had agreed to meet him, and here she was, despite therumours of this haunted house. Ghost weren't real, no they weren't. Never existed, never been proved.

"Good to hear."

She walked up beside him, smiling a little. Even if there were ghost, which there weren't, Luke would certainly be able to fight them off. Certainly. "Looking forward to having a sword of your own again?"

At that, Luke was glad he'd taken a minute to pack a few more items. He really didn't want to prove Tear wrong by screwing up something basic. This whole "growing up" business was harder than it looked, and he had to wonder if it counted when he put in extra effort for selfish(?) reasons.

"Yeah, you bet!" Luke piped up cheerfully. "It's been weird not having one. And anyway I hope the rumors aren't just a bunch of stories. It'd be really lame if we went through all the trouble to look for it, and there wasn't even a sword to find."

Oh, that would be bad, very bad. She's risking possible ghost for this sword. She will not be happy if it turns out to be some silly, baseless rumour.

"Well, I'm sure you've looked into it as much as you can. With the amount of detail, there must be something there."

She will look over the borrowed sword for a moment before nodding. "Well, are we waiting for anyone else to join us?"

Luke wasn't too concerned about any possible ghost(s). In fact, he wouldn't mind seeing a real one. It could be pretty exciting - something Blessenwood itself is seriously lacking.

"Yeah... There've been other rumors like this one around, but apparently there really is a mansion out there," Luke explained. "One guy said that's where the mayor's family used to live years and years ago, but when the monsters got so bad, they had to move into town."

The redhead returned the nod, turning the map around and trying to figure out the correct way to fold it up into a smaller square.

"Anise said something about coming. She'll probably get here soon. I bet she wanted to check up on Ion before coming to meet us."
