Luke frowned to himself, scratching the back of his neck with a free hand as he studied the map one more time. This sounded kind of fishy, and Luke was really hoping he wasn't about to do something incredibly stupid. ...Which meant he probably was.
Local rumor had it there was a really awesome sword not too far from an abandoned mansion deep in the forest. The catch? Not only was the old house creepy as heck, it was said to be haunted. The woods were crawling with monsters to boot. Oh yeah, and this sword was pretty much stuck.
With a sigh, Luke glanced behind him at the sword he'd borrowed. It was nicked along the edge and in need of a good polish, but it was a sword. Finding a better weapon would be worth it, right? And if it was all just a hoax (which seemed likely), at least he'd get some practice in. He hadn't done any training since the battle with... Master Van. So, what did he have to lose?
