[Donny turns on the audio feed, just about to speak into it when he's distracted by a crashing sound in the background. He turns his head away from the communicator to shout:]
[Clapet's still rifling through the cupboards, for about the second time around, hoping to find a tin of something, or some dried vegetables, or something he can make do with, or, perhaps, a knife.]
Come on, come on, there's got to be... [He pokes his head up over the counter, speaking fast and with just a slight hint of panic,] Donny! What the hell is the point in this? Why do they give you water but no food? You think... Mon Dieu, you would think...
[And if there was no food, what was the bet Donny wouldn't let him do what he knew to be necessary?]
[Donny's pocketed the communicator and is currently sitting on a vinyl-covered booth, calmly watching Clapet freak the fuck out. Being stuck in a bunker doesn't unsettle him too badly, but that note in their backpacks about a journey gives him a bad feeling. To him places like this - one door, no windows, a sort of cramped-together living space, means something not-so-nice is going on outside.
Still. No need to panic yet. He's got to keep his inmate calm, as Clapet has a habit of doing really stupid things in situations like these.]
Hey, easy does it, Clapet. [He slowly inhales and exhales, swinging his feet up on to the table.] You're not starving yet. It'll be fine.
Yuuuuuup. [He's trying really, really hard not to roll his eyes.] We're in a bunker and we've got water. [And he has a gun in his backpack. Not that he's about to tell Clapet just yet.]
Eventually we're gonna need to brave the wilderness - and whatevah's waiting out theah too, but it'll be ok if you just stay calm.
[He's thinking about the zombie port, and how even in that world they had been able to find food. Donny's not going to waste his time freaking out just yet, not when he hasn't even seen what the outside world looks like.]

We're in a bunker, with no supplies, Donny! How can that possibly imply fine to you?
[He shakes his head and goes back to searching through cupboards, muttering to himself,] Not even a knife.
