I've been lately watching a ton of BSG too, and I have no idea why that show makes me so happy when it should be so depressing! I have no idea. Then again, I've been watching early season 2 and spending all my time going "Roslin and Adama, MAKE OUT ALREADY!" It's such a fantastic show.

Oh man, I've often referred to that show and myself as having an abusive relationship starting sometime in season three. It hurts me and the people I love, then it does something to remind me why I loved it in the first place and I come running back and we start all over again. Honestly, I'm not too happy about a lot of the plot starting in 4/4.5, but did I watch it? Hell yes. I was too invested in everyone not to. Though I was thinking the other day, maybe our falling out starts when... they forgot that good things happen too, if that makes sense? Like, really serious shit goes down in seasons 1 and 2, but there's still some levity, and cute stuff, and a lot of genuine warmth between the characters. Like, Roslin and Adama spend a lot of time fighting about stuff, but it's clear that they like eachother in a personal way hence why they should make out. They lose all that in season 3 in favor of kicking characters when they're down and not even developing them for it. :/ But flaws and all, I'll probably still name it as my ( ... )
