The Community Arts Ensemble show opened today. I managed to make it this far without killing anyone, so I'm happy. I've heard nice things about my costumes, but I'm just glad it's over tomorrow. Well, that Animalopolis show will be over by Thursday evening. Monday ought to be a nightmare with everybody in costume for the first time. I think I've got everything done, but I wont really know until first dress since no one is exactly sure who all is in the show. Had an absolutely wonderful day yesterday. BBQ at maladr1n's with wonderful food and friends. In fact, I still swoon thinking about the grilled zuchinni with olive paste...mmmmmm. I just had one of those dream shopping experiences. I just spent $460 of someone else's money at the fabric store. Fabric, notions (thread and things for the uninitiated), crafty stuff, etc. I had a list for most of the things, and then just ideas for others. Strange, but true. I've been stumped on what kind of costume to make for about 30 little kids to transform them (magically, of course) into fish. I'm happy to report that we've got fish.
