We have FISH!!!
Strange, but true. I've been stumped on what kind of costume to make for about 30 little kids to transform them (magically, of course) into fish. I'm happy to report that we've got fish. Take one turquoise ball cap, add a big fin running from the seam where the bill meets the cap all the way to the back, finally add 2 big eyes on the sides. We got fish mufukuhs! I also have projects for my student volunteers. The older can sew the foamy fins and eyes on the hats and the younger can sequin/trim/paint to make them "fancy." Only, I have to find about 30 little kid ball caps... preferably in blues and greens. And I'm thinking of maybe collars to go with... little round collars that can be painted to look fin like. I thought of tails, but I see them stepping all over them.
Okay. I know you all probably don't care about how I came to create fish heads... but it's been bugging me big time, so I'm happy the design is done.
