well today is fathers day. it started out horribly and i didnt expect it to get much better. my mom made me talk to her after asking for my help, nicely. so i couldnt be mean. not that i should have anyway. but i really just wanted to be left alone ( Read more... )

I don't think you ever need to say goodbye to your Dad. As for the ashes, they are just ashes, but they were his matter. It's tough.

its very tough. i know they are "just ashes" but they are HIS ashes and thats the only physical thing i have left of him. im not ready to give those up. i wasnt ready for my mom to sell his car..i wasnt ready when she sold his 36 chevy he was working on..however i knew i wasnt going to be able to do with it. im just never ready for anything that happens and yet i never have any say in anything that does.

i can write well only when i have a passion for something. i couldnt be a journalist for the simple fact id have to be told what assignments to do and if i dont really care about them..it wouldnt come out well.
