hey,

so lately i've been getting into this new thing, it's called "not going out all the time". basically what you do is, when you get home from work, you stay there until you go to sleep. it's pretty awesome. you don't overcommit yourself to gigs/social events/happenings, and you generally have the evening free to watch the sopranos. i think i'm ( Read more... )

i guess they are somewhat french in nature, yes. the mint pesto one was da bomb!

i love paulie the best. i didn't know one of the sopranos guys was a guitarist for the boss - i'll look into that.

at the moment i vote for staying in. i went out last night and the bands weren't gonna finish til midnight and i was like "man, i gotta work in the morning - i'm blowin' this popsicle stand!" i stayed for half the show...

see i've still got that thing where i don't want to miss anything cool, so i go to most things. but lately i've been like, fuck it - it's winter and my time is valuable! sopranos you win!

i like sil also - i like that his face never really changes - he's always got that grimace going on.

i think out of any of the characters paulie is the most loyal, which is a trait i admire in him.

yeah i have to say that 'dragonslayer' has been a bit of a disappointment for me. it's not a bad album, but compared to the majesty and grandeur of 'random spirit lover' it doesn't hold a candle. it's not nearly as frenetic an album - it's calmer, and perhaps a little more "comfortable", but these are not necessarily qualities that i enjoy in a sunset rubdown album.
