hey!

so i just finished writing a "tender application" which is a big old document saying why my company should do some work for someone who's put out a request for said work to be done. the work in question is an evaluation of the Construction Industry Training Board's vocational program entitled Doorways 2 Construction. in short what this means is

wow, that wold stuff is really intense. pretty close to some of the archie martin vox stuff i've been doing lately actually!

speaking of ambient black metal, have you heard of amesoeurs? they're a cross between indie, shoegaze and black metal. like a mixture of slowdive, for against and early ulver or something.

also, did you mention nadja on here a while ago (the doom metal duo from canada)? i acquired 'the bungled and the botched' last week and it's excellent!

yeah nadja are awesome. i think their best release (that i've heard) is probably 'truth becomes death' - it's VERY good. also they did this one hour track entitled 'thaumnogenesis' which is also excellent.

hmm i'll have to check out amesoeurs - sound pretty sweet.

yeah i'm pretty into wold at the moment. look forward to hearing all this black/doom/sludge stuff you've been making lately!

i guess a lot of kids are fascinated with the macabre - it's a natural part of figuring the world out. i used to watch lots of horror films when i was a youngster. i watched all the psycho films and evil dead. plus i loved stephen king.
