I agree. Too much pre stuff. But I thought the dance party was cute, I mean that's why they didn't elope last season, because of the dance party in the old Michael Scott Paper Co. office. And you should see that youtube video, it's hilarious.
Exactly!!! After all those adorable moments between him and Pam, and then their wedding is hijacked by a bunch of dancing coworkers? No way man.
And yeah I have a theory that Jim is what every girl is convinced she'd be if she was a guy. If that makes sense. Like if we woke up tomorrow as a man, we'd all be exactly like Jim.
That's my problem with it too!! KLEENEX SHOES?? SERIOUSLY?? Coworker dance party? Torn balls? Dwight hooking up with an attractive person?? None of this would ever happen haha.
I like how 5 years of character development hasn't convinced you that Kevin would think that Kleenex boxes are a good substitute for shoes. Or that Michael would attempt to hijack Jim and Pam's wedding to replicate a Youtube video.
Exactly, the problem is that they have gotten so absurd that they are totally unrealistic. In the beginning Kevin was just a fat, gross guy. Nothing unrealistic about that. But now? Not so much. Not that it's not funny, but it leaves me wishing they had stayed a little closer to the original concept of the show.
I agree. I liked most of it, but yeah, too much of everyone else, not enough Jim and Pam. We've waited years and years and yet they focused more on Andy's scrotum than anything else.

But it had some great moments, I guess.

But Andy's face during Jim's speech saved it :D

Absurd characters lead to absurd situations.
