MAD MEN, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

So at first they were totally playing with the conventions tv has taught us to accept--that every dangerous situation has to end in consequences--and flipping them. Sort of "don't be such a baby, the world's not as harmful as you think", like with Sally & the dry-cleaning bag, and now they've almost taken it to the other extreme--you see that bad's coming, but the bad that happens is so much worse: "uh oh, lawnmower in the office, something's gonna get broke-OMG FOOT!" and now "uh oh, Don's gonna get this dumb kid mad at him over this gir-OMG HEAD PUNCH!"

Also, just realized that Joan is the same actress who played Saffron on Firefly. She's awesome every week AND she got to take advantage of Nathan Fillion.

Why are Cosgrove & Peggy not in these little huddles with Kinsey, Harry & Pete in Don's office?

I just love that the second you feel like one of these people is going to have a nice little TV moment, something like Don yelling at Peggy to stfu and do her work happens LOL. No Hallmark moments on Mad Men!

And yeah I don't know why Cosgrove and Peggy aren't in those huddles, I think it's just Pete's little clique, although those guys all like Cosgrove...I don't know!

And yeah I knew that was Saffron right away and I loved it haha! She rules.

11. Did I miss something, or does Cooper totally know that Don isn't really Don? That whole thing about him signing the contract was creepy!! Did he ever really find that out, or did he figure it out on his own??

Pete told him at the end of season 1 and he PRETENDED not to care but apparently he just made note of that fact so that he could use it to his advantage later. This is one of the reasons Cooper has become my favorite character this season. There have always been hints that he's secretly very manipulative and controlling and not just a bad ass old dude, but we're finally seeing it in full!

Conrad Hilton is WAY creepy.

I seriously want a fainting couch now.

I love Cooper! But I don't think he's so much controlling as he just lets his presence be known. I really do think he's one of the only nice people on this entire show, even when he's being pushy he's still kind of nice about it haha.

I think he likes to subtly assert his control/authority. Like the whole no shoes in his office thing. It's part that he's an eccentric, but part saying "I have the power to make you do this. You're going to because I tell you to."

But he IS also one of the few actually good people on the show. And he's got AWESOME argyle socks.

Conrad Hilton gave me this creepy-as-fuck pedophile vibe. The way he kept talking about having these neeeeeeeeeds and what not. I DO NOT WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HIS NEEEEEEEEEEEDS.

LOL @ the teacher. I loved how she was all, "I know you want to fuck me, YOU PHILANDERING HUSBAND."

Don was a total dick to Peggy. ;_; I kept waiting for him to tell her to go pick up his dry cleaning or suck his dick or something, because that's what "a woman is supposed to do." >_<

God. Everyone is such a DICK on this show, why do I love it?

He totally has a pedo-vibe, I think it's the mustache!!

Yeah that teacher was out of CONTROL I love how offended Don got over her just projecting his own pervy thoughts back onto him LOL.

I know, I love that they're dicks, watching nice people in this kind of show would be boring as hell XD

LOL why do I love Don so much, he is such a prick who does not want to be cornered by anyone. I hate Betty, I really try and sympathize with her and I just can't, she is a horrible cold bitch, but I do think she knows Don pretty damn well now. The daughter's lisp drives me insane, and that girl is stiff and uninteresting to me. But maybe she'll grow into the character.

Peggy is my favorite. DUCK-WTF??? Is that just a ploy to lure her away from Don? His timing was impeccable, with Don's ripping her of a new asshole that day. Her and Pete have amazing chemistry. I think Don should steal away Peggy, Pete and Joan and do his own thing, but I guess he can't now.

Yes, Cooper knows who Don really is, and he was very carefully manipulating Don with that. Why does Don hate Roger so damn much? Because he actually goes and gets what he wants with his child bride and Don is totally trapped?

LOVE THIS SHOW.

I totally agree about Betty, she is so THAT WOMAN that I can't stand watching her, she's got a stick shoved so far up her ass it's like CRAZY LOL I loved her "hiking" outfit to go see that reservoir with that guy! Who would wear that for a hike??

And yeah DUCK s';ldfk';lasdkfal;d that was CRAZY. I think Pete and Peggy could do their own thing and Roger could break up with that vapid wife of his and get back to roaming Joanie's hills LOL XD

I was like LOLWUT when Duck was giving Peggy the once-over, then when he told her what he wanted to do to her... "...Ok, I never thought Duck would be so damn hot." OMG!

I understand Don's frustration with his spiralling-out-of-control life, so I figured his ripping Peggy a new one wasn't really his irritation with her overall so much as REALLY bad timing on her part. (But maybe I'm just biased 'cuz I love hearing Don talk... OMG JON HAMM TAKE ME AWAY) I was more mad at those pesky teenagers for fucking with my Don! GRRR! But the teacher confused me - I thought she wanted to be all up on his jock? WTF.

I hate Betty Draper so much. She's such a b. I'm giving it 2 episodes until she's boning the governor dude, and the end of the season ends in divorce. That's MY guess, at least.

When Duck said those lines about tearing her clothes off I swear to god my jaw could not drop any further without falling off my face LOL!!

Yeah I think the teacher was trying to do some kind of hard to get I'm-a-smartypants kind of thing and instead of Don being like "ohhh baby" he was just like "well fuck you very much" LOL.

I don't think Betty and Don will ever get divorced, but if she starts banging divorcee governor guy I wouldn't be the least bit surprised!!
