I believe Jin died post-crash (slightly obvious, given the show's narrative, and the fact that Sun probably wasn't making sweet love to a corpse to conceive her baby). IMO, Jin died trying to get off the island, or before they could get off the island (possibly for Sun) and they either brought his body back or let the world assume he was dead and put the grave up as a memorial. Given Hurley's "Let's go see him" comment, I'm guessting the former.

As for Aaron, the idea of the Oceanic 6 is a media invention - it's pure tabloidery. Of course they would include a baby. Pictures/stories of babies sell big.

I was very proud of myself - I actually kind of understood what they were saying. Either I'm getting better, or The Powers That Be are getting more obvious (actually, I'm kind of betting on the later - personally I found the "Fun Time with Jin" bit of this episode turned out to be more of a dramatic device than a well-integrated part of the story, but that didn't mean I didn't enjoy seeing him on my screen. I *heart* Jin)

but WHY was it so *good* that no one else was there...

and why was it the Year of the Dragon, which someone said means like 2012 and the last one was in 2000? or was that shopkeeper just on crack?

I would explain my reasoning a little more, but... I've read some things, Spoilerfix included, and I kind of know a few things that I'm using to defend the things I'm saying. But according to EVERYTHING I've read, Jin was one of the 6. Unless they were foilers.

But I found the spoiler I was talking about... and it's not really spoilery anymore, now that we've seen this episode, so I'm going to post it. Don't read this if you don't want to read spoilers AT ALL, even though these were technically for tonights episode...

This "Oceanic 6" make it off the island, but one will die - exactly who will be revealed this season. [The major character dying] is an original 815er. And as far as major Lost deaths go, this one veers from tradition in one significant way.

Also, this one:

As Kristin recently revealed in her last post, she asks who are the Oceanic 6? [...] Well the Oceanic 6 are the 6 people who get off the Island and are semi-famous. [highlight if you want to know who they are... The 6 are Sun, Jin, Kate, Jack, Hurley and Sayid.]

i doubt this, but could it be possible that the media still referred to Jin as one of the 6 even though it was his body that was brought off the island? they do love a good human interest story and poor pregnant Sun bringing her dead husband home to be buried would be one...

I am sick with this, but maybe Ben is being counted because people would just believe he was on the plane and wasn't on the list or something, you know?

LOL I think Locke lives, just on the island! I hope by then end Locke is in charge of some insane Apocalypse Now tribe of natives that bow to him and feed him grapes and stuff.

But I don't think Ben will ever count as one of the 6, he is soooo up shit's creek right now, and he's so secretive that I don't doubt he's just living under an assumed name or something.

I dont think they would include Ben as an Oceanic 6. Maybe the 6th one is Sawyer? Or someone random like Rose or something. I hope it's more interesting than that though!

YES. UM WTF. I don't know what to think. I started freaking out when I was thinking that he was dead. But then my mom's like STOP BEING DEPRESSED HE IS ON THE ISLAND. Maybe he is on the island so Sun along with everyone else has to lie that no one else survived. And Sun was grieving because she can never see him again. She thinks. Cause for some reason they can't go back to the island or some crap. I DON'T KNOW. I REALLY WISH HAD CLARIFIED THIS. WHETHER HE WAS ON THE ISLAND OR NOT. BLERRGHALJDFISJLFJSLFJS.

Ok. So. I was trying to figure out this Aaron thing. Because how would they explain that Kate had a child?!?!? Kate obvs wasn't preggers when they arrested her to take her back to the states. So government would know that. And if it wasn't Kate's child then they wouldn't have let her adopt him no matter what happened with Claire. o_________O I'M JUST. OMG. WHAT. CONFUSED.
