I don't think Aaron is one of the six because he wasn't on the manifest. I get that technically he was there because he was in the womb and all that but I don't think he counts.

I've read some other places that people think ABC is screwing with us in their Promos... I don't think I believe that. I also read that someone read spoilers before the season started that Jin was part of the Oceanic 6 and there was no mention of Aaron. Though.. spoilers don't necessarily mean anything either.

So... in this reply, I have no frickin clue. LOL

All of the pre-season 4 spoilers on the major Lost blogs did in fact list Jin and Sun as the final two members of the O6, but I now think that they were wrong. If the public knew that Jin survived the plane crash (for at least a little while) then why is there a grave set up with the date of 9/22/04? Unless someone had the grave set up for him in memorial after the crash, but who would do that? And if they did, why would Sun not just visit his actual grave? I could see Sun's father putting up memorial graves for her and Jin, but it didn't look like Jin's grave had a partner stone.

yes, i think aaron is sixth.

i do not think jin died. bill found that the date on the headstone was the date of the crash.. we don't necessarily know that all the people who were claimed to have died in the crash died at all.. i am assuming SOMEONE is still alive on that island because of fewchahurley having visions of chahlie saying "they need your help"

Yeah see I agree with you that all the people who "died" during the crash aren't really dead, but I ALSO think that anyone who died while on the island or during their escape will have supposedly died on the day of the crash.

So I don't know.

i know they've been using the excuse for people who did actually die at some point, but i expect that there will be people who just don't leave - or left through some other avenue - that will be talked about in the same way.

also, this episode's flash forward/back thing was such a giant mindfuck, jesus christ.

Also, idk about the ABC preview, but like, CTV's is all like "HAYYYYYY SOMEONE IS DYING NEXT WEEK LOLZ YAY" and I am like "AAAH NO THX". And that doesn't have much to do with anything, but............ hold me?! :'( Except it'll totally be Jin and we know he's going to die anyway but I AM WORRIED.

I think Jin is dead because of the fact that Hurley and Sun actually went to his grave site. Now, I agree that it's probably just a marker, but if they were simply sad about him being left on the island, there would be no reason to go to a fake grave. I believe that Sun is genuinely grieving for his death, and thus Hurley visited.

Furthermore, it wasn't a funeral, it seemed like an anniversary of some sort. Possibly the anniversary of Jin's actual death?

LOL I see what you're getting at, HOWEVER, I think that if Kate came back from this island a huge celebrity, and she had some cock and bull story about how Claire's dying wish was for her to have custody of Aaron, and if there were witnesses to it or some such thing, Kate COULD have legal guardianship over Aaron. Especially since Claire had NO family - her mom's in a coma and her dad - well we know all about him LOL.

I think it would be way more complicated to make it seem like Kate was pregnant when she got on that plane, ESPECIALLY since she was in custody! They woud have noticed a girl in handuffs who was also 8 months pregnant XD

But really who knows!!! Hopefully they'll answer this stuff soon!

It probably will end up being what you said. But dude, if the show ends up saying that some courts allowed a known felon and fugitive about to go on trial FOR MURDER I will actually be surprisingly upset, considering what I actually for give the show.
