LOL OKAY FIRST OF ALL the guys in some of those pictures look like those weird guys Superman fights in Superman 2 LOL. Second of all, how is this already updated with all the new info!? I &hearts fandom.
LOL NO, YOU LISTEN, YOU WITH THE SHITTY EXCUSES. LOST, BSG AND THE OFFICE ARE OVER UNTIL NEXT SEASON. THE NEW HP BOOK AND MOVIE HAVE NOT COME OUT YET. YOU CAN SPARE 10 MINUTES FOR WIKIPEDIA. I'm in the middle of BSG Season 2 and I can spare 10 minutes to check their wiki after each episode so I know I'm getting my facts right.

Seriously, Whovians are very decicated old fandom, and sadly you're going to catch up on some old school stuff if you want to understand and enjoy what's going on, Rachel. There are references that go over the heads of the fans of the new series because they're like a wink of acknowledgement, but you kind of need to know what has happened from the beginning! I'm not saying you need to start watching every Who episode ever made, but reading this quick fandom guide to Doctor Who is a good start.

Haha thank you for that, I am much less confused now. Although I still don't get why the Doctor would always refer to himself as the last Timelord when he KNOWS this other dude is out there somewhere, and he may or may not look like Eric Roberts LOL.
Yeah I'm not going into Torchwood expecting anything mindblowing, but it will give me something to do during this horrific fandom drought.
The Doctor was the last of the Time Lords. He knew because they all had a telepathic connection, and there was nothing of the connection left in his brain. That's because the Master had made himself completely human to escape the Time War apparently, so he had no telepathy. He wouldn't have registered. And as soon as he opened the watch, the Doctor could sense him again. So, that's what that is.
Um, we never found out if Utopia's real or what it is. I wonder if we will. Hmm. And the sharpy tooth woman was from the future people outside the compound. She was a plant, I guess. To keep the humans their because her people need them for food, apparently. Weird.
BUT WHO THE HELL CARES BECAUSE JACK + MARTHA + FLIRTING + SNARKINESS + MASTER!!! MASTER IN 2 DIFFERENT ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FORMS!! OMGOMGOMGOMG.
And you've never seen Torchwood?? Watch it now!! Some of the episodes in the middle of the season are forgettable, but at least they're filled with teh sexy. Srsly. So much sexy in that show. Guh.

Torchwood is not nearly as cool as Doctor Who, but the two go so well together (and at least we get our man-on-man action with TW). ;)
