Holy mother of crap! (AKA Being Human, S02E03)

Jan 28, 2010 22:29

Now that was the show I fell in love with last year. The first two episodes had their moments, sure, but they never managed to capture my attention the way that most of the episodes in the first series did. Thankfully, this episode came along, and reminded me just why I had a minor obsession with Being Human in the first half of last year.

Cut for a spoiler-filled post that probably makes next to no sense... )

I know. And she has to know exactly who Mitchell is, which makes their storyline even more interesting. It would have been interesting if the fundamentalists had actuall managed to hear what George and Mitchell were discussing when the bug was washed down the drain. She could use that knowledge against him, and if Mitchell were to become Herrick, it could lead to one giant... I'm not sure what, but it would most likely be epic.

However, I think your suggestion is what will end up happening. He will probably come very close to the brink of becoming Herrick, but George will end up being captured by the fundies (after Nina escapes and tells them everything, of course), and that will bring him back.

All I do know for certain is that I will be avoiding any spoilers for the rest of the series like the plague. ;)

For some reason, the fact that it doesn't make sense to you doesn't surprise me in the slightest (I should buy the DVD's for the first series and force them upon you when you get home, lol. If you just start with the second series, it's still not going to make any sense.)

But yes, it is made of much win. :D

Now you've got me intrigued! I managed to put off series two until now (don't really know why, I really liked series one, just preoccupied mostly), but now I really want to watch it. Sounds brilliant :D

Well I'm glad that I peaked your interest. It really kicks off in the third episode though. The first two episodes, while good (and necessary to watch for backstory and such), had absolutely nothing on the third.

everything always kicks in by the third episode with this show, I think. :)

You know, I think you may be right. While I do think that the first two episodes of the first series were stronger than those of the second series, it wasn't until Gilbert's episode that I really became obsessed with show.

Oh, damn you f-list! You're all speaking so well of this series and you're making me want to watch it, you tempters of busy girls :(
Kidding of course! I love to watch exciting series and if it has your blessing, I'll have to watch it ;)

Hee, we're all out to get you! *insert evil laugh here* The good thing is, there have only been 9 episodes so far, so there isn't all that much to catch up on (the first series only had 6 episodes, and the third episode of the second series only just aired). Unless, of course, you watch the original pilot first, but it's not really necessary.

And I missed talking to you as well, hon. When I saw your name in my inbox, it made me smile. :) *tacklehugs you back*
