This was a nice fun chapter. I laughed many times. I love how River reads what Jayne's thinks of her hair in your fics.

That is so Jayne. Cruel, maybe, but it also made me laugh. XD

River put her chin on her knees and stared at him with wide, unblinking eyes. “Then I shall sob inconsolably.”

I possess more love for your River than you will ever know. XD That's too perfect.

Mal growled from the front seat. “It’s ‘bout to rain,” he said irritably, gesturing with one hand up to the iron-gray sky. “An’ if I have to pull this mule over to shoot one o’ y’all I’m givin’ the both o’ you septic duty for a month.”

I'm so glad you liked the chapter! Hee. And yup, that definitely seemed like a Jayne thing to do; he's a bit of a bastard, but you gotta love him anyway. Heh.

And, wow, I'm so flattered that you like my River! *beam* I have fun writing with her, especially since - if she's a little more sane - there's so much creative room to twist.
