-Author Notes: Yay Rayne! Just got this little idea, so had to write it really quickly. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to just throw out the word restriction and see what I could do with the idea if I expanded it.
Target Practice
"Don't think," he said gruffly, raising her arm so it was parallel to the ground. She scooted back, pressing further into his body.
"Instinct," she whispered, senses overtaken by the rich, heady aura of him. He was strong, surrounding her, blocking out all other stimuli. She couldn't think if she wanted to.
"That's right. Use your instincts. Vera's a sensitive girl." His mouth was by her ear, his chest was broad and hard against her back, his hands held her hips. "Gotta aim jus' right."
Her finger rested lightly on the trigger. "Aim..." His heart thudded against hers. "And fire."
