Mr. Wells' novels are very popular as well, but I don't quite agree with his...politics.
Our Detective Murdoch attended that new play of Mr. Wilde's, 'The Importance of Being Earnest' and reported that it was quite humorous.
I read mostly penny dreadfuls. I try to get all of the ones about Sexton Blake, who is a detective. Most of his stories are in Union Jack, but he's sometimes in the Halfpenny Marvel as well.
