Well, if I had my power I could save everyone a lot of time and just make him think that he'd had this date.

That's not exactly what I'm looking for, but I appreciate the information. Can I ask, have you ever done that with your own memories? Or just others'? I'm sure you could have quite a philosophical debate about whether actually experiencing something makes you happier than thinking you have; if you don't know, I can't imagine how you would be any less happy, but the memories would have to be pretty intimate..

If you ever feel like talking about it, you let me know. It could be a fun way to kill an afternoon.

...If you're trying to marry him off or something, you might want to consult him.

[the 'fall in love' and marrying off are entirely different things to Eddie.]

I'm not trying to marry him off. It's one date. And like I said, he'll know about it before it happens. It's not like I'm surprising him. I just want to make sure I find someone that won't ruin him before I talk to him about it.

But... why go on a date if the aim isn't to marry them?

I suppose if you've talked to him about it, that's alright.

To understand a different time, culture, and mindset. He's doing me a favor by trying to get a better understanding for the way the world works where I'm from in order to help me in my redemption. He's a good warden. I'm trying to help him by making the process easier.

I have and he accepted the idea. That's nice of you to ask after him, though. You're a good man. It's Eddie Russet, right?
