The ebayed AC adaptor showed up today, and there was much cheer and rejoicing at House of Ace as the little green light came on in my laptop & it rejoined the land of the living once again. Hurrah for ebay.

Even if the laptop doesn't much like its power cable, that and the replacement battery will at least allow you to plonk it in the corner by itself to charge up. Definitely an improvement!

Depending on what flavor of laptop it is, and whether you trust me with a soldering iron (mwahahaha) I could attempt to lay hands on the thing.

It's a Toshiba Satellite... but I'm not sure what you could do with a soldering iron. ;)
