She's fine; she was asleep until I called her from the stairs and told her that "a guy just walked into the house" haha! I couldn't actually go upstairs, you see, my laptop was down there! But the blood got out of the carpet alright, so everything turned out ok I suppose. I am nervous about this court date, though, bleh.
