I don't get it. Turnbull is going on about how Bradfield will be a referendum on Labors enconomic management. Only if they run a candidate Malcolm, only if they run. Unless of course your rhetoric is a cunning plan to not get them to not run cause you think you'll lose an electorate that the liberals won with about 60% of the PRIMARY vote last time

Doesn't have the political skills or the patience. He demonstrated that with the republic referendum. Incredibly talented individual with really good insight into issues, but managing other politicians he's not so good.
