so i just watched "rabid", a david cronenberg film. when i got it i was thinking of the plot for "the brood", and so kept expecting mutant homicidal children. when i finally realized my mistake, the movie was almost over. it was still good though. many sexual overtones. it was a little obvious when one of the characters made a point of showcasing ( Read more... )

I didn't click the link yet 'cause my computer's acting wonky, but is that the CNN 'debate' about atheism with no atheists on the panel? Argh. It's ridiculous. It's like white people debating black people's issues with no black person in sight.

yes, it is that debate. how was that blatant discrimination not obvious? you would think that at least karen hunter, the woman who was the pulitzer prize winner and professor of journalism, would say something about equal treatment of opinions in the media. and whose genius idea was it to appoint the espn analyst as an expert on a religious panel? someone was on crack that day.

CNN tries to act like they're a competent news organization and sometimes they succeed, but most of the time they seem to have no idea what's going on in the world.
