I would really like to read an AU/What if where Remus instead of just being bitten was also kidnapped and raised in a wolf pack (maybe Fenrir's pack?) and has grown wary of humans and distrusts them (but isn't as extremist as Fenrir or other werewolves...); therefore he never goes to hogwarts, and only meets Sirius later, without trusting him ( Read more... )

There's a fic where Remus (who had been taken and raised by Fenrir) is sent to join the Order as a "goodwill ambassador" on behalf of Fenrir's pack. He is, naturally, mistrusted by the Order. I think it was a rs_games one. I'll see if I can track it down for you.

Nope, none of the fic summaries sound right. Maybe it was a 2008 one (they aren't listed at the mo')? I could be wrong about it being a games fic too.

It's called "A Good Stumble is a Symphony", and it's by last_radio. It is from one of the rs_small_gifts fests in recent years, but I can't remember which. That should set you in the right direction, though!
