Arg. This is driving me crazy. The fic I'm looking for was fairly long. The boys are out on a mission for the Order, I think, and Remus is hit by a (purple?) spell that basically turns his brain into that of the wolf. I'm looking for a story from fanfiction.net.  Remus and Sirius get together over the course of the story.  In the end, after being kidnapped by deatheaters, Remus transforms and Moony ends up killing Voldemort.  James and Lily are alive.  Remus and Sirius end up using a surrogate and have twins as well.

I remember reading this story fairly recently, and I think it was on LJ. It's a Breakfast at Tiffany's AU, set post-Hogwarts. Sirius moves to a new apartment, only to find Remus lives in the unit above him. He finds out that Remus is now Caradoc's kept man.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? It's driving me crazy that I can't find it again.
