I've just read fullmoon_dreams Trouble series and I find myself quite in the mood for AUs where Remus is much colder and/or nastier. Do they even exist?

I've already read Gryffindor No.1 (and was torn between gawping and feeling completely squicked out ♥) and Dating Remus Lupin is too cheerful in this case. I want something darker and angstier -- if it's smutty ( Read more... )

Your request makes these come to mind immediately. Paint, and Magic by juliefortune and The Uncle by sam_storyteller. While you might find The Uncle amusing, it isn’t as over the top as Dating Remus Lupin.

Oops! Almost all Julie Fortune fics should come with warnings for industrial strength angst. There are deaths galore (Death Eaters) and some torture in Paint, and Magic because 12 Grimmauld Place is overrun during an Order meeting and Remus goes to war in it! He's one BAMF in this extremely well written fic! Consider yourselves warned!
