I'v fallen for a new fandom: Friday Night Lights. Any show that makes me bawl my eyes out with their first episode owns my heart. Don't get me wrong, I still love Stargate Atlantis, but I cannot watch it with my brain engaged, ever. Oh, I adore Friday Night Lights! Unfortunately, it airs the one night that I'm not home, so I've only seen a few episodes. I guess I'll be waiting for the DVDs. I grew up in that kind of American small town, crazy about football (the town, not me), and this show has got it right!

I cannot believe how good FNL is. I would go insane living in Dillon, Texas, but I enjoy being shown what it's like immensely.

Oh god, I love love love FNL. It's an amazing show. There are so many aspects of life in small-town Texas portrayed in the show that make me go wtf! but I applaud the way things are told: unappologetic and unironic. That is truely great TV.

As for SPN recs? I don't particularly care for Wincest, from what I have seen I don't quite buy it. I love Dean, so any fic spotlighting him would be great. And I wouldn't mind some Jensen/Jared because these two are seriously hot (and I am shallow).

Man, you haven't been reading my LJ at all, have you? *g* I'm fandom pariah because I very famously don't buy the Wincest. ;)

But I do write the RPS side of it. And I have written some gen-SPN fic. And there are a few really good writers & fics in this fandom, although it's like finding good VigOrli fic.
