Yeah, that was my reaction too, when I saw the ep. "Ow! Sha're died four episodes ago, and the Tok'ra never TOLD them they could successfully remove the symbiote?"

When I was tallying up all the prompts I realized Skaara wasn't anywhere and threw a few in and I'm so glad I did because you wrote us this beautiful gem!

I love the description of how Skaara is and isn't himself anymore - and particularly wondering if he'll be comfortable in Abydon robes again (*OUCH!*)

And the having to remind himself and the Sha're link and, oh, oh, it's so real!

And yes, much as he loved his good brother, every moment of watching Skaara happy and free must have twisted the dagger just a little bit more.

I've always had this picture in my head of Daniel spending the first year actually imagining that he and Sha're could go back to life as it was before Apophis came through the Gate. And then, after Secrets, he knows it'll never be quite the same, but they'll work it out together, right? And then comes FIAD, and then Pretense, and listening to Skaara talk about his experiences and... well.
