"It's a church. A Christian temple, to their god and his son." A strange, echoing voice replied.

It belonged to the creature sitting leaned against the church wall, an androgynous creature with white skin, dark hair, and red eyes dressed all in black. Homunculus smirked up at his new and most likely temporary toy, looking like the cat that ate the canary.

Glancing over his shoulder once he heard the newcomer's eerie whisper, Xiao Meng stood there for a few moments in total silence as he eyed the person who stood before him. The other was just as pale as as ivory nearly devoid of any color except for that mane of dark hair. The stranger's eyes were red like rubies but darker than crimson, a sight that actually baffled Meng for he never seen anyone with such eyes before. He blinked his eyes for a moment as he stared at this young man, not quite sure if this newcomer was male or female...

The irony of meeting another individual similar to himself did not go unnoticed by the androgynous assassin.

"A Christian temple?" Xiao Meng said as his gazed upon the church once more. "Is that what it is? I never heard of 'Christian' temples before." He felt a little nervous around this stranger, something about those crimson eyes made him feel the need to be wary.

"A-are you the priest of this temple?"

Homunculus chuckled, genuinely amused by the question and by the nervousness and wariness rolling off the young man dressed as a woman before him.

"No, I'm not the priest. I am surprised you've never heard of the religion, however- they shoved it down most of the world's throat if memory serves, and it never does anything but." He paused, glanced at Xiao Meng's clothing. "Tell me, what year was it in your home world?"

Frowning slightly once the creature looked him over, Xiao Meng decided to leave his curiosity for this strange temple and it's Christian faith for now. Judging by the mischief lurking within those red orbs, perhaps now wasn't the time to indulge this stranger with idle talk. The other seemed far more interested in his manner of dress(Which Meng does know is rather odd) rather than speaking more about this strange religion.

"The year of the Han." He paused for a moment. "Correction, the last year of the Han. The entire world from which I am from is in total chaos." Xiao Ming sighed a little.

"It's a very lengthy story, one that I do think I need to share with an friend I barely know." Oh, Meng certainly hoped this being was a friend and not a foe.
