It hadn't taken long for Yuffie to get to the pinged location. Having received the signal, she had taken a moment to fix her hair--it was always important for ninjas to look good at what they did, after all, but they didn't tell you that--and had made her way out without a word. The Turks had made it clear they wanted this to remain under wraps for now. Had one gone into the girl's head, they would have seen she didn't hold the two in a very high light. Most of her ideas involved rather comical stick figure versions of Reno and Rude getting beaten up and generally disfigured by an exaggeratedly...feminine version of her ( ... )

Rude waited much more patiently that Reno, of course; he stood still and silent as usual while waiting for the girl to show. Despite this he was uneasy about what they were doing. Still, that had never stopped him before. However, he would have been more certain of his actions if the orders had come from a higher-up. This was separate from the rest of the Turks entirely. But they had made a deal with Hojo, and it didn't matter how that deal had come to be made. Their only objective now was to make sure the deal was kept, and that was what he would do.

When Yuffie arrived, he was instantly more alert, although it didn't show much in his stance. He acknowledged the 'greeting' with only a slight grunt. Not a nickname he particularly liked to be called, but he kept that to himself, of course. He glanced at Reno behind his shades, waiting for the other to speak.

She hadn't kept them waiting. Yuffie came jumping in before Reno could give in to second thoughts about their plan. He had to smirk at her enthusiasm. Under different circumstances he might have even felt obligated to clap after that entrance ( ... )

"Well, looks like neither of you changed," Yuffie commented casually, waving a dismissive hand at the greeting. "You're still as silent and depressing as ever. Do you even think in words? And you...still can't be trusted any longer than I blink! Yeah, you better!" Powerful, shiny materia. Already she could feel it... Some people used materia for attacks or other battle methods, and then there were those freaks who, what? Ate it? Yuffie though ( ... )
