I'm finally going to start using this thing.... and a warning.,

So it occurred to me today, after sitting in my bathroom starting a the little white stick that I had just peed on scrutinizing whether or not that was an evap, a shadow, or the beginnings of a real second line,this i that I really needed a hobby. So after almost 4 years of having a LJ account I think I am finally going to start using this thing

I think I finally figured out what to say to you.

I hurt for you, but please remember that I (we) didn't do this to you and that since you know how it is to have your own problems made light of, don't make light of mine (ours). And don't blame me (us). Don't objectify me (us). I don't run around calling you by any title or description. You are Liv. You are not an 'Infertile'. You are simply a person. So am I.

To upload a pre-made icon that you see that you like, right click on it and save it to your computer. Then go to profile: manage userpics and follow the directions for uploading the picture to your account. To use your own creation it needs to be 100 x 100 pixels (or less). I don't know how large the file can be but it's pretty easy to stay within the limits if you use a picture editing program to resize the image as a small web pic and then save it as such.

Martha: I love you dearly, but why is it you feel like everything I say is against you personally? I have tons of friends who have children yet none of them respond like this? I don't think I'm making light of your problems with this blog or objectifying you, nor am I blaming you for my infertility. I have labeled myself because it is what I am. I am okay with the title, why can't you be? As I posted if you don't like what I am writing simply ignore my blogs. You told me if I couldn't handle what you wrote that ignoring you for some time would be for the best, perhaps it is true in this case as well. I am going through something right now that not many people can truly understand. I need to vent about the stupidity I deal with every day, and the pain I am going through. Please Martha let me have this

Blogging rules: Blogging is generally what we do for ourselves. We rant, we complain, we objectify, we seek advice and support. Most readers who are familiar with blogging will recognize that and will either not read what doesn't interest them or read, knowing that this is a part of who you are, not the WHOLE of who you are. It's a wonderful outlet, but it can be stressful--sometimes your commenters just won't get it. That's ok. I promise to remember how often people have not gotten it when I wrote.

I've blogged on and off for years, but never used livejournal. Don't worry about the grammar, we all just kind of excuse it, including typos! :) And why do all the good ideas come in the bathroom? haha. Looking forward to reading. Sarah W.
