I felt a little social yesterday. For the first time in several weeks, I wasn't working at KMUW during the day. I woke up early, hand-washed some sweaters, and set them out to dry on the porch on the laundry rack. I want to go thrifting with you! Though I'm buying less cuz I don't want to carry it whenever we move, I want to go! Drew's not as good a thrifting partner as you.

I miss thrifting with you. I like going with someone who is willing to go and spend some time really looking at things, trying out new pieces or styles, sitting on the furniture, etc. I'm trying to purge old things I don't need on Craigslist and build up my "professional" wardrobe at the Junior League and Goodwill.

I do enjoy Final Fridays, especially in the fall. I think the last one I attended was in November, and it was kind of cold, but nice.

Your idea about flea markets makes me think of the flea market on south Meridian street and Pawnee. It's a HUGE building, and I hope they're not seasonal. Raymond and I went there once in the summer and almost bought a record player/8 track combo.

I think you should add "Catch an awesome Friday/Saturday night concert in Tulsa/Kansas City" to your list. I have connections for places to stay in Tulsa. Not that we couldn't totally drive home after the show. Those two places generally have some kind of kick ass show (*cough*Cain's*cough*) going on during weekends... At least more so than Wichita.

Speaking of thrifting.... If you just so happen to see a pair of black or pink converse chuck taylor all stars in your thrifting excursions, LET ME KNOW. I had to trash my pink knock offs because they were old and holey, it hurt my heart to trash them. :(

OHOHOH!!! For instance... THE MARS VOLTA (I'm about to wet my pants I'm so excited) is playing in KC on the 25th. It'd be an awesome show. Have you listened to any of the Mars Volta? I might have to talk Kira into it.
