I AM SCREAMING WITH LOVE FOR THIS. SCREAMING.

I love everything about this. I love the idea. I love your phrasing. I love your characterizations. I love the way Mark might create the future and what this does to them, and I love how Eduardo (tries to?) prove him wrong. I love the beginning, the middle and the end. I love it ALL.

...I also, apparently, love forgetting to log in, commenting as an anon, and not realizing it until I hit submit. Sorry about that.

(Here's my original comment, as the anon one didn't seem to go through.)

I got your first one, no worries :)

And what are you talking about? Anon always = love. Always. It's like gloryholes! The more, the merrier! So dude, leave anon as often as possible. Then you can leave TWO. One as anon and one as you. It's like double for nothing.

Which, obviously, is awesome, in case that wasn't clear. And it's more awesome when you leave one as yourself, praising, and then trash it as an anon. And then the author can go, "Wait, wtf?"

And you will know you've helped someone amuse themselves for at least a couple of minutes :DDD

homg. okay.

lol so I still owe you a proper comment for your last amazing, epic story (I haven't forgotten!) but, like that story, I just gobbled this one up and it was AMAZING. seriously, you're becoming one of my favorite authors in this fandom very quickly, and I hope you never ever stop writing for them.

your Mark (and remember how last time I was flipping out about your Eduardo? er, did I flip out to you about him? I know I flipped about him to my flist, gahh) here is ASTOUNDING. this power he has is just so him; Facebook is, in my head, Mark's way of making the world and the people around him fit into pictures and interactions that he can understand and connect with, and this is exactly in line with that. he is a creator, but maybe the most selfish kind, or maybe the most honest kind- really, we create not to better the world but to fit better in the world, to help the world fit us, and that's what he's doing here. he's drawing a world that he can work with, and ughhhh, it's just so perfect ( ... )

Okay, first of all, I am drunk, so I hate you for leaving me a comment this long because it means I have to reply and there is like, THOUGHT involved, and that is too much effort, so I hate you.

Like. I have to READ your comment. And it is HARD. And I hate you.

OKAY. HERE WE GO. (NO JUDGING. ANYONE. I KNOW IT IS MY FAULT FOR NOT REPLYING EARLIER, LIKE A MONTH AGO WHEN I WOULD NOT BE A) DRUNK AND B) REPLYING WAY WAY WAY TOO LATE. SUE ME.)

YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN SO I HATE YOU!! (x2) (But not really.)

I AM GLAD YOU LIKE IT Okay, oh my god, I am taking capslock off now, this is obnoxious.

No, you flipped out to your flist, not me, but I got it regardless, so all is good, and I am glad you like Mark and Eduardo :)

And duh, of course Mark's power is so him. He just cannot figure out, the rest of the time, why the world is not obeying his every whim. Wtf, this shit is not working like normal ( ... )

Yay! Thank you! I like doing interpretations of the prompts that are less "standard" than what might be expected. I am glad you still got it and it still worked for you :DDDDDD

Ooooh, this is utterly fascinating. The very idea of shaping the future with his art is interesting. Even more interesting is how quiet his world seems despite what he can do.

I really like how they met, and I like how Mark drew their first kiss so that he can tell Eduardo that it's not fair for them to go on like that. I like Eduardo's brief existential crisis, his refusal to believe it, before he seems to accept it. I think it could go either way, that Mark really does control the future, or that he influences the future as he reads it like a constant loop. They're both equally interesting in their own ways.

The ending is perfect though. What Eduardo says, telling him it's alright if his will belongs to Mark, and to make him happy, wow. That's a sharp, memorable way to end it.

I like omnipotent characters, so I'm glad Mark, as one, worked for you. :) Thank you!
