lol so I still owe you a proper comment for your last amazing, epic story (I haven't forgotten!) but, like that story, I just gobbled this one up and it was AMAZING. seriously, you're becoming one of my favorite authors in this fandom very quickly, and I hope you never ever stop writing for them.

your Mark (and remember how last time I was flipping out about your Eduardo? er, did I flip out to you about him? I know I flipped about him to my flist, gahh) here is ASTOUNDING. this power he has is just so him; Facebook is, in my head, Mark's way of making the world and the people around him fit into pictures and interactions that he can understand and connect with, and this is exactly in line with that. he is a creator, but maybe the most selfish kind, or maybe the most honest kind- really, we create not to better the world but to fit better in the world, to help the world fit us, and that's what he's doing here. he's drawing a world that he can work with, and ughhhh, it's just so perfect.

their meet-cute is SO THEM and perfect and I love that Dustin and Chris are just sort of flitting around the periphery. there's some tensions there but it still manages to be fairly light and sweet, too.

and oh man, the moment when Eduardo kisses Mark and Mark stops him because "it's not fair." Maaaark! I adore that he'd think like that, that he cares about Eduardo enough to want this to be a choice for him, not just for Mark or for fate. I love that Mark is constantly itching to draw his future with Eduardo, that it's basically instinct, because it proves how much he wants Eduardo. and I think that's another great Facebook parallel- he creates Facebook as a world where he and Eduardo can both fit together, can rule it, and can't understand why Eduardo would want anything more or better (the Phoenix, etc).

and then how determined Eduardo is, and later how he just accepts that this is the way things are and that Mark is worth it- I don't know, I'm kind of with Eduardo in that the free will thing isn't as black and white as Mark seems to think it is. ughh, I'll be thinking about this one for a while, too, I think.

okay, I will stop gushing now, lol, you're probably like o_O...what kind of crack is she on? beautiful, beautiful work, lovely. DEFINITELY write more of these two, you are wonderful!

And duh, of course Mark's power is so him. He just cannot figure out, the rest of the time, why the world is not obeying his every whim. Wtf, this shit is not working like normal.

And yes, Mark thinks about things like fairness! He has morals! They are hidden deep, and require a jackhammer and flashlight to unearth! But they are there!
