Germany pics

Kassie and I are back from our trip to Germany. We went on an exploratory trip to see if we want to live there next year. My company announced a couple months ago that engineering and manufacturing are moving to Germany. The biggest reason being that most of Siemens Medical is located there, so we can take advantage of the economies of scale, etc.

That's awesome. I've been thinking about you this past week, so maybe my brain was just buzzing das Sie waren in Deutschland. Sweet pictures. I'm not sure if I've ever been to Erlangen, but I've been to both Munchen und Nuremburg. It looks like you both had a great time. Those beers looked delicious!

Noticed your video camera: as new parents we're feeling compelled to get one. What model do you have, and do you recommend it?

I have a Canon Optura 40. In general, I've been happy with it, although it sucks in low light situations. It has a "night mode", but all that does is cut down the frame rate, which makes the video choppy and unwatchable. Do a search for it and you'll find all sorts of reviews
