One of the most difficult decisions I face at a convention at any given time is: do I want to take photos/videos of what I'm seeing to show others and remind myself of what happened, do I want to sit back and soak in the experience without worrying about a camera, or do I want to be 'part' of the experience and have others take photos of me?

It's not an easy choice!

Definitely not... sacrifices and all that. But thankfully, lots of suiters are fun to watch, and photographing them can be just as fun as suiting. :)
