Another year, another great Anthrocon! I had so much fun this year, and it all went way too quickly.

• I met two great people, Nicona Shadowwolf and his wife, Snow Queen TigerClaw, on Saturday or Sunday (I can't remember which). We talked a bit about fursuits and cons and such, and we met again during the fursuit team games. I like Nicona's suit, too. :)

• On Thursday or Friday, I thought I spotted giza in the DLCC elevator. The guy I saw had a bald head, shirt and tie, and was texting on his phone. It could've been anyone, really. • Thursday, while I was in the Westin lobby taking photos, a random guy wearing a suit (I didn't think he was a Westin employee) approached me and asked, "are you with the press?" That was kinda... weird. I wore Dockers and my Detroit Lions t-shirt that day, along with the Abrahm badge I'd ( Read more... )

A couple addendums to the Thursday entry:

• While navajo and I were out for breakfast at Fernando's, 2 and Grandma Kage showed up. That was a treat. :)
• I spotted nerfcoyote in the lobby during the afternoon, I and ran downstairs to take photos. He's always fun to watch, and that time was no exception.

The New York Mets arrived at the hotel in the early evening, and the Dorsai were quick to clear the lobby and tell us not to take photographs.
