*sniff* I feel so bad for him re his mom, and the fact that we really don't know what happened to her, apart from fanon speculation. (I have my lovely mum's things around - and a box... I guess some things are universal.) I somehow doubt Teyla or Ronon would pry. As for Rodney - well, he's so delightfully obtuse, isn't he! He would maybe pick it up, fiddle with it, John would look uncomfortable, and a glare from Ronon would make him put it down again. Well, that's how I see it. Dagnabbit, you've made me feel all wistful now. Thank you for sharing! Nicely done. When I saw the title, I thought maybe you'd stuffed our boy in a box. *pauses for whumpy thoughts* Just wondering, would he have the dog collar under his wristband, or that bracelet made from his mom's sweater, or both? I do wish we had been given an idea of what had happened to his Mom...accident, illness, divorce?

As for stuffing in a box...you saw how poorly I did the appendicitis part. That is about how I do any physical whump. I will just have to delve into his emotions while in the box.

I got the dog collar idea from our dog's puppy collar. I was wearing it the other day because I stumbled across it. I see him wearing the collar adn the black bracelet together for a little while. People might ask about the purple bracelet though, so not too long.

Loved the fic Pocus. The emotional whump John went through as he looked through The Box and as he looked at each item and the memory it brought to him really got to me (in a good way.)

Of course the physical whump was great as well.
