What do you guys think of Abby Johnson? I kind of feel like her book/story is propaganda. I've volunteered at Planned Parenthood and even as a volunteer it was nothing like that. :-/
she makes lots of money trashing PP to credulous antis who want to believe PP is horrible. Obviously, if she didn't say PP was horrible, she wouldn't make any money (she was fired for incompetence). So that is exactly how far she is trustworthy.
I figured as much. I think I read elsewhere that the day she claimed to be at work she wasn't even on the clock. I think she also said PP forced people to have abortions.
See, as a PP volunteer, I never got that. I'm in KS (our PP is under the Planned Parenthood of KS and MO) and there is only 1 PP in a 2 state area that does abortions (I think, it might be 2).
I happen to volunteer at one of the few PPs in the area that does abortions (because it's 5 mins from my house). There are women that walk in for their appointment and then change their mind right before....and that is fine. The point is that they ahd a choice because of us.
