i have never heard that. there have been recent threads in both the naturalmed community and the pagan community about recipes for herbal teas known to induce menstruation (and therefore, and abortion), but these are definitely not fool-proof and certain, and they cause serious harm to the fetus if it is not aborted, so you'd have to go through with an abortion if they do not work. if you are really interested, you should check out the recent posts of both communities - it's been mentioned in both in the past few days.
I have seen a couple sites cautioning against too much castor oil as a possible abortifacient, but nothing reliable. I don't believe it has been scientifically studied, so it's hard to say for sure. The consensus appears to be that it won't help.
On the other hand, you could check out sisterZeus's page for more info on natural/herbal abortion methods. None are guaranteed to work, but a couple might be worth a try (like the Vitamin C method, if you've got good kidneys) if you're in very early pregnancy.
