I like to think of the word 'Christian' being a Noun and an adjective. You can be 'Christ-like' and not be a Christian (one of the kindest ladies I knew in my younger days was a Muslim) and you can be a 'Christian' and be the worst of the bunch wearing your religion like a cloak - taking it off whenever it's convenient. I think your Speaker chose a very interesting topic indeed. AND Jay had a hilarious saying on his mission -- 'Justification is like Masturbation - you only screw yourself'. I like it. It's true. *g*

Honestly, some of the most Christ-like folks I know have never stepped foot in a church nor claim to be of any religion. A lot of my friends from HS & my brother's friends, who are all hippies, are the kindest, most honest people I've ever known. They're all much more Christ-like than some of the Evangelical, Bible thumpers I've met thanks to the Army!
