*rises from the dead*

Hi guys!

Have you missed me? :D

Things have been crazy busy here. I'm back in Georgia with my parents. So far, things are actually working better here. I have a job at a hospital in "Environmental Services" A.K.A. housekeeping. I'm not complaining. A job is a job... no matter how dirty. (pun intended)

I found a church here too, it's out of my usual range, seeing as how I'm more "traditional" musically when it comes to church, but I can overlook the music for the preaching. They are not afraid to step on your toes. They don't have bulletins so I'll have to bring a notepad with me to write in since my Bible will quite easily get marked on.

It's been INSANELY hot here. I swear we've seen 100 a number of times this week. The humidity is nuts. I actually do not go out during the day if I can avoid it. However, the evenings have been gorgeous and that's plenty of time for my dad and I to sit on the porch and just chat the night away. I missed that.

I've been running to doctor's left and right again. But it's that time of year. This time we're much closer to getting answers. Yeah, surgery may be involved, but if it makes me feel better, I don't care. Endometriosis is no fun. I knew I'd get it eventually. My mom and aunt and grandma all had it. Mom had to have a total hysterectomy because of it. I was told by my doctor to not even think about that. I'm entirely too young with too much before me for that. Frankly, I just want the pain gone. And it won't interfere with work.

So, this past Sunday at service, the speaker(usual preacher was recovering from a trip to South Africa where he ran a double marathon (!!)) was talking about how there has been such a wall between "relational unity and doctrinal purity" for entirely too long. On one side, you have the people who welcome everyone and everything of every shape, size, and color, but stray away from the Word, and on the other side, you have a bunch of people who constantly walk around flicking people on the nose going "That goes against the Bible" "I don't think that's what Jesus would have done" "That's not right" and in the end they just wind up casting stones at everyone and not see what they are doing.

He mentioned how we try and justify our sins too. "Well, I'm not as bad as so-and-so who does this MUCH more than I." Or "Well, so-and-so did this, so it's okay if I do that." No. Sin is sin. Whether it's hating someone or killing someone. It's still the same ugly blot.

In my opinion, Christians are giving ourselves bad names. This was actually a Facebook discussion, based on tattoos. We are just constantly criticizing one another and not being the brothers and sisters in Christ that we should be and it reflects to non-Christians. How would a non-Christian react to a "Christian" hating someone? Or telling someone that they were going to hell because of one little error? Or if they see a Christian not owning up to their owns sins, but yet pointing the finger at others? I just don't see that as a good message. But I'm off my soap box.

I think this is everything, if not I'm sure I'll catch y'all up in the comments. :) *hugs*
