froggie illusion back pack

I finished the frog illusion back pack from New Knits on the Block. I have never done illusion knitting before and I feel like it's somewhat hard to see the frog. Experienced illusion knitters: does this lok right to you?

Yes, it's designed so that it is hard to see the image, you have to be at the right angle. It's the same way with my shawl.

I knew you had to be at an angle but it seemed like the angle was really sharp for this bag. I guess that's right, though.

It's really pretty easy with a chart. It's just knits and purls to make ridgy parts that make the picture.
